Isolation between separate circuits
The remote alarm interface is isolated from the main circuit by reinforced insulation according to EN 60950-1:2001 and with dielectric withstand voltage 3000Vrms.
1¡¢SPD can be installed in power distribute box and so on and mounted by screw. 2¡¢Wiring of SPD is as shown in Chart1.& 2. the input wires to ¡°Lin¡±, ¡°Nin¡± terminals, the output wires to¡°Lout¡±,¡°Nout¡± terminals; lead out earth wires from ground terminal to the earth bus for lightning protection system. Please refer to diag.2. 3¡¢In case of remote alarm, alarm leads are connected to alarm terminals then be plugged into alarm interface. Please refer to Chart3 .
NOTICE
1¡¢Cross section of connected conductor shall meet the technical requirements. 2¡¢No special maintenance needed except for periodic inspection for looseness of connections and normality of indication. 3¡¢Indicator shines green, the mean is the SPD normal, indicator shines red, the mean is SPD fault and should be replaced. 4¡¢When an alarm is given, there may be a damaged component (if indication LED shines red), and the SPD should be replaced.
