 INSTALLATION

1)   The protection box should install in the general power distribution cabinet. JD105K385H4J (Chart1)

2)   The connection of the SPD

2.1 The protection box connection way, please check attached instruction..

2.2 There is alarm transit port on the SPD (normally low impedance, failure high impedance.). Connection port is on the upper part of the box. If long distance control needed, just plug the alert device in open circuit..

2.3 Check all the connections, then electrify, All indicators green shows the lightning protection box normal.

NOTICE

1.   Shut down power supply before installation. The connecting cable must be up to standard.

2.   If system operating current of ‘A’ is more than 100A, ‘B’ (a air breaker or meltable fuse of 63A) is necessary.(chart 4)

3.   When the LED lights are in green it shows the SPD is normal, if they are red, that means the SPD has fault and need

  to be replaced immediately.

4.   When remote alarm spring, check protection box carefully, the failure part must be replaced immediately. 

5.   No special maintenance was needed. Check the connection state、working state and LED once a period.
